Zoom whitening?

Becoming a Mrs, on December 19, 2015 at 6:13 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 9

Has anyone had this done? How were the results? My wedding is in July and I'm finishing up with my Invisalign and am debating if I should get it doe or just do the crest white strips.

TIA!

Following this. I have VERY sensitive teeth. I tried crest white strips one time and it hurt really bad and I had to take them off after like 5 minutes. But I need to find a way to whiten my teeth

I have really sensitive teeth, too, so I'm going to try one of those whitening "pens". They are not supposed to cause sensitivity and the reviews I read looked good! I have used bleaching trays by my former dentist and Crest White Strips and both methods killed my teeth with pain. I'm very hopeful the whitening pen will be different!

If I use the white strips in the morning my teeth hurt all day. I switched to using them right before bed and the sensitivity is gone by morning.

I recommend going to your regular dentist and having a consultation. If he recommends it, but does not do the procedure, he can recommend someone. I have done the zoom whitening and did not have any problems. However, that's because my dentist does handle general dentistry, but he specializes in cosmetic dentistry. A friend had it done by a dentist she was not familiar with and had extreme pain and discomfort.

I had it done and the in office part didn't bother me. Although the results weren't what I had hoped. But my teeth don't have much discoloration to begin with. However the trays and whitening they give you to use at home did bother my teeth and I am not normally sensitive.

FOR THE LADIES WITH SENSITIVE TEETH!! I'm a dental hygienist so I can tell you that if one whitening product makes your teeth sensitive they ALL will. They all contain the same whitening ingredient in varying levels of potency. The best option I can give is to do whitening through your dentist. They can make custom bleach trays so you can whiten at home. It's easily monitored this way. And if the professional whitening gel makes your teeth sensitive your dentist can adjust the dosage and apply fluoride treatments to stop sensitivity Smiley smile hope that helps!!
