Hi ladies! My fiance and I are planning to livestream our wedding on zoom and possibly Facebook, but concerns have been raised about music rights. Are there limitations around what music can be used if the wedding ceremony is being shown online?
Someone told me that by livestreaming the wedding we would basically be a radio station and would either have to use only music that our church has the licensing rights for since our pastor is conducting the ceremony, or use public domain music. Otherwise we would be violating copyright laws.
Does anyone know how this works? Anyone who's had a zoom wedding and run into issues with the ceremony music?
