    It was about 2 months ago. We had been on the market for rings for 6 months and struggled with finding the right style. He made the mistake of buying the ring in my presence, and it sat on his nightstand for days. After informing friends of the purchase, he was recruited into proposing 2 weeks after having it haunt the nightstand. He proposed late in the evening in his underwear on bended knee.
