Hi everyone! Today is NATIONAL LASH DAY ( Really! Lol!) and I thought this would be an appropriate topic. My lashes are very short and pale, so I'm wearing false eyelashes, a tad on the dramatic side, for my big day in brown. What about you?

I am lucky and have naturally long, full lashes - they are just really light. So I'll just put on a coat or 2 of the Too Faced Better than Sex waterproof mascara to darken them up enough to be visible with my eyeshadow and that will be it.
Im really debating this one. We don't have any salons within a 50 minute drive that do lash extensions or false lashes. I can't do it myself either. Rather worried about lash extensions and the risk of a reaction to the glue. What to do?

Jane, Hi! I'm sensitive to all sorts of things, but so far none of the eyelash glue has bothered me. I don't know anything about extensions except what others have said in this discussion. If you don't have anyone close and want to wear false eyelashes, look on YouTube for tutorials. Are having a HMUA? If so, that person should give you the option of having them applied.
I most likely will when I get down there. I know how I look with lashes because I put them on myself. So it all depends because I look great with them on and off. I have great eye lashes if anything it would just to enhance.
I LOVE bold lashes (but sadly do not have them - haha). I'm having my makeup artist do her think with false lashes because I know I won't be able to do them myself. Also, I feel like it would call for less mascara which takes some risk away of mascara running if it gets emotional hahaha.
Well, I never actually put lashes on my brides (never had one complain, either), but I thought about it and decided to practice with the magnetic lashes on myself for my own wedding. I just don't like glue-on ones--never have--so if the magnetic ones work out for me, I might start offering them as an option if I go back to freelance makeup later.
But yeah, I'd deffo only do the magnetic ones. I have never, ever trusted lash glue, and it bothers me to the point of distraction. I don't want any of that to be an issue that day!
Do you have a latex allergy? You can find latex-free glue for traditional lashes. You can also do the magnetic ones! Either way, practice really does make perfect with lashes. I suggest finding some youtube videos and practicing to them. If anyone know how to apply a lash, it's a popular makeup guru!
