your guests staying in same hotel as your weddnight night suite? opinions?

I see nothing wrong with staying at the same hotel. However, I would request that other guests' rooms are located in a different area than yours. My mom and dad were accidentally placed directly next door to my brother and his wife on their wedding night. My brother had my parents switch rooms with his friend. Still a little awkward

We're staying in the same hotel because we get our room for free and free for us is a god send ... but our suite will be on an entirely different floor from our guests rooms and they are not getting the room number at all (not even my parents, I will come back to their house shortly after we get home from the honeymoon to gather our cards and gifts ...)

I'd just register under a fake name so no one can find your room.

We stayed at the hotel where our reception was and had no problems. The staff checked us into our room at the end of our event and walked us upstairs. No one knew what room we were in, not even us. We found out the next morning, during checkout, that most of our guests were on the same floor. I wouldn't want to go through the trouble of traveling to another hotel, especially since our honeymoon suite was included with our package.
