I know this is a cliche question and many people have asked, but I'm really curious!! We are caught in between "Thinking Out Loud" by Ed Sheeran or "Can't Help Falling In Love" The Michael Buble version. Dilemma? The first is 5 minutes long (I realize its my wedding, but i have anxiety so there are going to be a lot of events that night that make me socically uncomfortable), and the 2nd is reallllly slow and might be awkward to dance to. What are yours???

"Amazed" by lonestar. I originally wanted "Marry me" by train but FH killed that. I will be walking down the aisle to an instrumental version of "Marry me" tho

Okay, I am going to go on a little bit of a tangent real quick...

I am going with "Thinking Out Loud". I actually love the fact that it's popular. I get super nostalgic when I hear a song that was popular years ago. It always reminds me of the great times I had during that period listening to that song. For example, MIA's "Paper Planes" reminds me of my freshman year in college, blasting that song on the radio on a road trip with my friends. Also, I love how brides on here go off on a certain someone for being "different", and then use "wanting to be different" as a reason to not use a song the LOVE for their first dance. If you love it, use it. Like someone above said, no one is going to care in ten years.

    UNLESS it's the song "1000 Years"...then I take back everything I said..

    okay rant over.

Yeah, ask the DJ to shorten our song, slow and romantic is always good! We will be dancing to our song, "Whatever it is" by Zac Brown Band. It was just so fitting for us ever since we started dating. We have always said, it will be our wedding song.

That Ed Sheeran song is beautiful. I'm with Kirsten - if you love it, use it!

We haven't officially decided yet, but I want to use "I'll Follow You" by Jon McLaughlin. He isn't super popular, but I've been a fan for years and I took FH to a concert of his a while back. We both love the song. I am also considering John Legend, but am a little over "All of Me." Maybe we can use one of his older album cuts.
