Your Dress - Internet vs. Reality

This thread is so fun!

My dress was Mikaella 2100. Here are the model photos:

And here are some of mine. We eloped in May, so I ended up having no time to get alterations done (thanks Covid). I got it off StillWhite, so it had already been hemmed and had a bustle added. It fit pretty well as is, but could have benefitted from being taken in about 1-1.5" at the waist/bodice and some other minor tweaks, and probably would have looked even more elegant if it had been left a little longer. I'm 5'5" had to find exactly 1.5" heels to wear with it, but I would have preferred wearing taller heel if I had the length to work with. I also wish we could have done a few more posed/formal shots to really capture the beauty of the train, but hopefully if/when we ever get a "redo" wedding there will be time for those. I'm still very happy I found this dress and was able to wear it on the day we got married!

This is an instance in which your photos would have had me lingering if I was wedding dress shopping, but the model photos do nothing for me. The dress is so pretty on you!

Your photos are stunning! What I think is very interesting is that the dress does look really similar on you and the model but something about your photos just seems so much more genuine and gives the dress a completely different feel. It's as if your photos give the dress its own emotions. So pretty!

Aw, thank you so much! I didn't see my dress online until after I bought it, and when I saw the model pictures I was like.. "wait, what did I just buy? Did I get the right dress?"
