Your dress is beautiful! All these dresses are so pretty!

I bought my dress pre-owned/never worn off Stillwhite. I've had it for like 7/8 months now and I'm still HEAD OVER HEELS! My IRL photos aren't great and I also still need to get it altered. I can't wait until it fits just right. I'm sad though because I've gained a bit of weight and I'm worried the seamstress won't be able to take it out if need be

I shop Lulu's a bunch (but haven't really bought much), but that's definitely one of the reasons I like browsing their site so much. It's always good to see clothes on a variety of real people, and I've found the reviews commenting on fit are way more helpful than getting fit advice from them via the online chat. Especially comments about running small or large, being stretchy or not, see through or not, and stuff about length/height, having long/short torsos, or being for boobs of a certain size.

I wasn't expecting the dress to look ANYTHING like what the stock photo looks like. My step-mom ordered it off of WISH so I was happy that it fit and looked decent.

The third David's Bridal picture is much closer to what it looked like in real life. That is the picture that made me want this dress! It was also really helpful to see the real life pictures in the reviews on David's Bridal. I am just obsessed with my dress! Wedding PC: Brenda Elizabeth Photography

Everyone looks so pretty. I didn't find my dress online and purposely seek it out. I tried it on in store thinking it was my first time seeing it. When I did go home and look it up I was surprised because I realized I had seen it before online it just wasn't something I had liked lol.


I don't recieve it until the end of January so not quite sure hows its going to actually look after alterations (I'm adding some things to it) but this is what I've got for now.

It's crazy how you see a dress online or on the hanger and don't even like it.. then you try it on and you're SHOCKED. I went in looking for boat neck, long sleeves, completely beaded.. very old "Gatsby" and covering all of my tattoos.. But I left with the "sl*tty pink one" as I called it hahah it was way too low cut for my comfort level and it's pink and spaghetti straps.. hahah the opposite of what I thought I wanted!!! But I said "wow.. that would look gorgeous on someone else!" and the lady was like - why not just try it on? So I figured what the heck! She also added a floofy skirt to make it a ball gown style instead - which I loved but also never considered! Glad I took her advice and kept my mind open!!

Thank you! I had her pull it up so it looks more modest than it's designed to. (It's also see through lol!!) I'm a total tomboy and usually wear yoga pants and t-shirts hahah so it's just out of my comfort zone. I adore the back of your dress.. I've never seen one like that!!!

Yikes, I am that short 🤣. Most wedding dresses swallowed me. Note: That was the dress I wanted but it took too long to order, so I ordered a completely different dress.
