It’s also nearly a perfect fit, just needs taken in around the waist a little and hemmed, so hopefully alterations won’t be too expensive. The shop gave me cards for two local seamstresses, but that’ll be next year’s concern!

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!! & what a steal! I wish I waited for the big bridal sale lol. I also ended up saying YES to the first dress! And then proceeded to try on like 3 more and then went to another boutique. Nothing compared and I returned to say yes the following week.

I think our biggest recent accomplishment was finally finding a bakery!! Neither one of us are big cake people so in lieu of a cake or cupcakes we have opted for brownies! Brownie happens to be one of the nicknames my FH calls me + I make him homemade brownies for every special occasion (v-day, birthday, etc.) but finding a bakery to make brownies was strangely difficult! BUT I stumbled upon the holy grail of bakeries and now we have that checked off the list! I'm stupid excited because the chef where we are getting are brownies from won a Food Network Baking Challenge and I'm OBSESSED with those shows haha.

Congrats on finding your dress! It’s gorgeous! I got a steal this week too, with a $2000 gown for $300 at a NBSE sample sale at a local boutique. They’re continuing their the sale until Sunday, so I picked up a headpiece today to match the gown. And like you, I’m struggling not to show my FH! I don’t know how I’ll last another 350 days, haha.

I’m a bit of a chocoholic and I love brownies, I think that sounds awesome instead of cake! My FH loves cookies, so we are thinking about getting a few dozen from one of his favorite bakeries. I’m totally obsessed with baking competitions too and they give me great ideas of things to try! Sounds like you’ll have a new favorite bakery for future needs too 😉!

This isn’t the same, but my best friend/MOH is moving from CO to Boston a few months before the wedding and suggested we FaceTime or Skype during my final dress fitting, it could be an option.
