WW Lauren How to Turn Off Ceremony RSVP

Is there anyway to turn off the ceremony RSVP portion? Also, is there anyway to turn off the meal selection? We are having a DW and a celebration party when we return which is why I do not need the ceremony function.

Planning Tools > Guest List > Ceremony > Settings > uncheck "Track invitations for this event". If that doesn't work, then I'd just delete everyone listed under the ceremony guest list.

    For meals:

Planning Tools > Guest List > Reception > Settings > uncheck "Track Meals for this event"

Thanks Barbara! I was able to get the food option off. The ceremony portion does not even have "track invitations for this event" checked which is weird because it is still showing under the RSVP.

It's annoying, b/c you can't even turn it "off" as an event :/ It doesn't really make sense to have it separate from the reception, and really, who needs an RSVP to the ceremony anyway (unless you really don't have many chairs)?

Yeah, the option to delete is shadowed and will not let me check that. I am clicking on the trash can and it is asking me if I want to delete I click yes and the persons name is still there. This is quite annoying.

Hi Rebekah (posted as you above, sorry!),

You can shut off 'Ceremony' on the RSVP tool of your website by accessing your wedding website editor and following these instructions:

    - Click the blue 'Edit Website' button

    - Click your RSVP page

    - Click the Wrench Icon in section of the page where your guests will actually RSVP

    - Uncheck Ceremony and click 'Save Changes'

Let me know if you have any other questions!

I am having the same problem as above - and have done everything indicated above with the wrench on the website and unchecking ceremony, but the issue is that is just for the meal - so it is saying you aren't tracking the meals for those events. I still can't delete the ceremony option for an rsvp. Any assistance is greatly appreciated - as we are not having a ceremony for our guest it will cause confusion.

Hi Annette! So sorry - these instructions are from four years ago!!

To remove ceremony as an RSVP option you'll need to remove all of your guests from the ceremony event in your guest list. You can see detailed instructions here: How to Turn Off RSVP Functionality for Events.
