Wrong state correct zip code RSVP

Yes. They may still get there but will be delayed. Are they wrong on ALL of them?? How did you put the wrong state.

I'm having deja vu I just had this convo with a co-worker. She said her sister did the same exact thing according to her the post office really cares about the zip code not the actually state abbreviation so all her sisters got back to her with no issues.

We ordered a personalized stamp, we recently moved from MD to VA so I made a mistake when I ordered the stamp for the return address. I did not notice it whatsoever and neither did my husband, although we checked the invitations one hundred times. I am under a lot of pressure wit work and USCIS issues so I am just all over the place. That is great to hear, Alicia, I am hoping the same will happen to me.

I think they go by the zip code... if i remember correctly from what i've heard about the post. don't quote me though.

They go by zip but the rest is used as well. I live outside of vegas. But if I put vegas and my zip.code it delays it 1 or 2 days.

It goes by zip code. If the machine cannot figure it out, it will get sorted to a bin to be check by hand so it may be delayed if the machine cannot figure it out. My son made me watch a fascinating documentary about how the post office works a few weeks ago lol. It was quite interesting.

I just purchased something from an eBay seller recently and he put NC instead of SC, but the correct zip code. He shipped in 2 day priority mail....14 days ago. I have been tracking it has been all over the place and I am beyond pissed. So it can screw things up royally.
