Oh no... Smiley sad How many invites were sent out? Could you call or send out a little card to confirm that the date is correct, but the day of the week is wrong?

Expect some phone calls (or messages on the response cards saying, "It's on a Tuesday, right?"). People will figure it out, but they'll call to be sure.

Did you have a pro do the invites, or are they Vista Print/DIY? If the project was done a pro, I'd contact them. They should be double checking dates to make sure everything is right before they print.

It was DIY but I had multiple people check it over before I printed them, and nobody noticed! FMIL is still the only one I've heard from which she thinks is funny, cuz probably 60 have gone out and hers wasn't first.

Ooh no. I agree though that most will figure out the date is correct, but expect some phone calls closer to the date!

I would consider making/ordering some simple post-card sized notes to mail out to everyone to just clarify that date for people. People will probably figure out that you're going for a New Years Eve wedding, but to avoid people calling/texting/emailing you constantly, I would send something else out.

I don't think anyone will notice, honestly. People tend to go by dates and will put that on the calendar and that is about it.

Kinda different, but we had a friend sent out a "save the date" that said- "Septempter 28th". Literally only ONE person noticed that September was spelled wrong. Sometimes, your mind just fools ya!

I would send out a separate card to everyone letting them know that there was a mix up on the date and let them know the correct date. You may still get calls, but hopefully a majority of your guests will understand.

Tell them you started drinking the bubbly early and what you meant to say was Tuesday, NOT Wednesday. I think most people will go by the date, not the day though.

With a date like Dec 31st, it should pretty obvious what you were going for.

I would send out an "oops" postcard with the correct day/date. It's better to be safe.
