WR: Did any of you sneak away with your new spouse?

Yes! We snuck back to the room after the photos and during the cocktail hour. No one noticed because they were occupied. It was really nice to collect ourselves! My ladies later joined us to freshen up and fix my bussel too.

We saw each other a couple hours before the ceremony and did some couple pics just the two of us. So we were able to just be with each other with only our photographer around and she acted like she wasn't even there during pics so we were able to just be us on our wedding day. Nothing intimate happened but our photographer even took us to a bar for a shot right before our wedding ;-) It was fun and very relaxing

I don't recall any planned time, but I did hit the dance floor often with him, to dance to the slow songs where you get away with swaying. LOL But, it's definitely a good idea!

Wow, I can't believe that more people didn't sneak away or ensure them time. I think we will definitely need to figure something out.

Yes. We had planned on sneaking away during the cocktail hour but our bridal party crashed our suite and wouldn't leave. It was fine. Really. So we found a quiet spot to just sit and talk. Some of our guests "found" us but didn't stay too long. It was really nice.

I am actually trying to think of a time when we could of snuck away, but don't think we could of...Myabe later in the evening when the dancing started, but we were busy dancing and visiting with guests.

It would be easier for us because our ceremony will be between 1 and 2 pm with the cocktail hour at 5 and dinner at 6. So once pictures are done if we have time left it will be easier to get some "us" time in. Then once we cut the cake and most the guests leave it will be easier to sneak away ;-).

I can see the time being available with an earlier ceremony, ours was at 3, and then cocktails at 5, supper at 6, so we were going, going, going...lol
