Would you rather... have a videographer or a second photographer?

Our photographer is a husband & wife with wife being main shooter and husband the second shooter so I would definitely pick videographer. That’s something we decided early on we just didn’t want to budget for!

We have a second shooter because I felt that was important with a 200+ person wedding, but I'm still trying to see if I can fit in a videographer

Neither. Don't plan video, other than on cell phones. My photographer is amazing so i'm fine with her. Wedding is small and casual

Videographer- there’s just those priceless emotions, slight changes in facial expressions, and small moment that a live video can only capture.

Videographer, I’ve heard a lot of people regret it if they don’t do that. Also, I’d like to capture movements and reactions from everyone in a live sense.

2nd photographer.

Well considering we have a videographer, I’d say a second shooter! I would love to have even more photo op options!!

Videographer, we currently are only doing a photographer because I feel as if that is the most important but if I had the extra money I would definitely get a videographer!

A second photographer! I'm really sad that we won't have any pictures of FH getting ready and I really feel that a second photographer gets a larger view of the wedding overall.

A videographer, I could have guest also take photos or do a photo booth.

This is the decision we are currently struggling with. Our amazing photographer offers a second shooter option and recommends it because we're getting ready off site, but we've been discussing a videographer as well. I'm torn. I dont think we will watch a wedding video but FH thinks we will.

Definitely videographer. I’ve seen my photographer’s work and she’s amazing at capturing every moment with just her. Video has the ability to be so much more emotional from the wedding videos I’ve seen others post here because you can see the pauses in the vows, hear the emotion and really visualize how the couple acts together which is beautiful.
