Neither would really bother me. To an extent though, if the jeans are ripped and really trashy looking I wouldn't be happy. And if the dress was meant to be like a wedding dress to upstage me that wouldn't be okay.

I'm not going to let what anyone wears affect my day. I assume that those invited know how to dress for a wedding. If not, well, I'm still having a wedding.

I wouldn't care either way. The guests aren't the focal point of the day. Everyone will be looking at the happy couple. As long as nobody shows up naked they can wear whatever!

Neither one would really bother me. I like jeans and our wedding is going to be causal anyways. The white dress would probably upset me a little bit but not enough to be a problem.

This is funny. my husbands friend actually showed up to the catering hall in white SHORTS, black sneakers , a button down and a vest it just looked sloppy all around smh *HUGE FACE PALM*

Lol I rather see a guest wear white than jeans! To me, wearing jeans is like going to a basketball or football game. At least wearing white, the guest looks more formal.

I'd rather have someone show up in jeans. I mean, it's a Saturday morning wedding- in Texas! As long as they're nice jeans and a nice button down shirt, I probably wouldn't even notice.

I'm not wearing white, so I'm telling guests they can wear white or whatever color they like. If someone shows up in denim, though, I'll be quietly horrified.

LOL I'm imagining someone from another culture (who somehow lives in the US and magically knows nothing about American weddings) buying a wedding gown not realizing it's a BRIDAL gown, not just a dress for any woman to wear to a wedding.
