Would you be disappointed if you attended a wedding that had no wedding cake? Due to the pandemic and multiple postponements, we have lost 3 bakers (and 2 deposits). We are now four months out from our wedding, and I am wondering if it is even worth the hassle of trying to find yet another baker. We will be getting married in New Orleans, and will be serving 2 traditional New Orleans desserts - bananas foster and rum bread pudding. Would you be happy with the two desserts? Or would you be disappointed there wasn’t cake also?

I love wedding cake, I would be disappointed. However if there were other desserts I’d make it work!

It should be fine without cake, but how do you ceremoniously cut the bananas foster?

Your plan sounds great, and I wouldn't miss the cake at all!
