Would this be engagement picture overload?

The Sealpups, on May 13, 2019 at 5:01 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 4

We just got our engagement pictures back and I've started putting some on our website. Disclaimer: we're a very low-key couple. We both understand that no one cares about these pictures as much as we do. I've been to weddings where there were (exaggeration) 50 pictures of the couple from the STDs and party favors were coasters with the couple's engagement pictures. (Our STD picture was just a nice shot of our hands holding with the ring). I don't want to put too many so wondering if this would be too much:

- framed pic 4x6 as part of the centerpiece for each table (just 1) with a small flower

- Two 5x7 pictures as the guest check in table for the reception

Is that a good amount? Thanks!

Personally, I have never attended a wedding that had pictures of the couple on display. Although, I have certainly seen photos on pinterest like your describing. I have also read on these forums about bridal portraits. So I do realize that it is done lol. I think your idea sounds just fine and not overwhelming!

I think it sounds fine! We’re just having and 8x10 and three 5x7 on display. Yours definitely doesn’t sound overwhelming!

I once went to a wedding that had a 24x36 photo of the bride on the girls room and a 24x36 of the mens restroom. So you would know which was which, even though they had the mens and women's doors properly labeled.

I gotta say, before that, I never thought about wedding bathroom decor.

Yours sounds way more low key than that. Smiley smile

This doesn't sound over the top to me at all Smiley smile

I like the idea of incorporating a photo in the centerpieces!

As long as you and you're FS are comfortable with this amount of photos on display, that's the main thing Smiley smile
