Hello everyone,

So I have already postponed my wedding twice now, everything was set to go and I was 30 days away when I had to move it again due to our governors orders of no more than 25 people and no dancing. I have obviously had my dress altered, is anyone worried that their dress won’t fit a year from now? I bought it a size too big so I would have room just Incase and when It was all finished the lady even said to me watch your weight. Idk it just kinda made me over think I guess. I workout regularly and eat healthy at least 5x a week but I have had tendency’s to over work myself and go crazy in the past with tracking calories etc. Are any of you worried about your dresses next year? Would love to hear your thoughts 😊

I am trying to get married this August 2. But as of now our governors have a no dance floor of bar rules at all weddings. Also we might have to say our vows wearing a mask and I just can’t go that far

I feel ya completely. I should have been married by now, but we are postponing until May 2021. My alterations lady told me twice, "I hope quarantine hasn't added to your waistline, I hope you're not gaining weight." I was pretty insulted to say the least. While my fiance says I look perfect I think I have work to do. At most I've gained one or two pounds. But I'm going to try to quit coffee, stick to water and tea only, more fruits and veg, less carbs ect. I workout (long hike, or jog) every day or every other day so I think I'm OK, but her comments have worried me (although I do still fit into the shorts that I wore in high school, so that's comforting I suppose). I'm just going to keep up what I'm doing.

OMG my alterations lady said the same thing to me?! I have always struggled with the way I have looked and when she said that it almost sent me into a panic. I know their probably being light hearted but for someone like me who has anxiety around weight, the comments don't help. I think you will be perfectly fine and your going to look gorgeous! Best of luck to you and congrats!

Have u ladies considered adding a corset back to your dresses? Like is that an option if our midsection gets tight?
