Wording Help - Rehearsal Dinner Invitations

OriginalKD, on October 26, 2015 at 11:48 AM Posted in Planning 0 7

Any recommendations for verbiage is appreciated. Friday night before the wedding, we are hosting a 'meet and greet' of sorts with cocktails and appetizers. Since everyone is from OOT, they all will be receiving an invitation. Since we are not providing a full dinner, I am trying to avoid using the term "rehearsal dinner" on the invite. I have pasted what I have come up with below, but any thoughts are appreciated.

I think that looks great, but I might replace "great food" with "appetizers" so folks don't expect a full meal. You could also call it a "welcome reception".

I would write appetizers than. ^ Makes me think I am getting dinner! lol.

Maybe call it a " WEdding Happy Hour" with Appetizers and cocktails?
