With or without the "belt"?!

I fell in love with this dress because it was plain - nothing like I had been trying to find. then, when it came, I was so worried it was "too plain". And ordered a belt. The belt was too thin, so I removed the embellishment, and the seamstress can attach it... but I can't go back on that decision. I've considered finding matching satin/making a new belt, but I just don't think it will look right / think it will take away from the dress/waist. So. With, or without?!

    I often vote "no belt" but that belt looks like it was made for the dress. It's perfect.

    I'm torn aha. Normally I say yes to belts but for yours there's something very classy and elegant without it

    I often vote Yes for more sparkle, but I really like your dress without the belt. It looks incredibly elegant without the belt with the straight clean lines of your dress material.

    When I saw the first picture without the belt I thought it looked great and didn't need it. Then I saw it with the belt and I love it! It looks like it was always part of the dress.


    So I'm a yes to the belt.

    What do you plan on wearing on your hair and what type of shoes?

    If you have sparkle on your hair like the one you're wearing in the photo with the belt then I think it looks great and that the whole ensemble matches! But if you're going for simple I would opt without the sparkle and a simple veil. Your dress looks so beautiful with and without it!

    I am going for something sparkly on the head, like pictured - just undecided on the exact one just yet - the veil I'm undecided on just yet. Likely a satin edge Smiley smile
    Shoes - I found an exact replica of Manolo's (Carrie Bradshaw esque), so they have a little sparkly buckle on each blue shoe!

    Curious. How does it feel when you sit down? It looks like the top point might poke into your midsection. For me, that would help me decide (since comfort is important!).

    I can't feel it, it's actually really bendy and slim Smiley smile I can't feel any difference with it on (especially as the embellishment would be attached, not a "belt" as such)
