Winter cover up for mob

I am attaching a photo of my dress it has a very frilly neckline. The wedding is in January, it will be cold. I have a jacket for outside but my arms and shoulders seem really bare and cold to wear for ceremony and inside. A shawl doesn't look right with the neckline. Are long gloves ok? Any ideas? Winter cover up for mob 1

I think gloves would look really glamorous with this dress! They will definitely “up” the formality of your look (just a consideration).

Gloves sound like your best solution if you want to avoid the ruffles. Or you could try a wrap and wear it slung low, like this:

A faux fur wrap might also be worth trying out, since it would be bulkier it might be able to be worn over the ruffles without looking lumpy

Gloves are very in right now and would be perfect with your gown! The neckline is such a statement, that adding anything around it could take away from the beauty of it. The gloves would work as a wonderful accessory though!
