Thank you Ally. It's frustrating when I spoke to the vineyards themselves about how to do it legally, was told the legal answer, and then I'm told I'm wrong based on assumptions. lol But....I admittedly knew nothing about legalities regarding giveaways.

As for shipping across state lines... there are so many vineyards and wine clubs that ship all over the US. So I don't see what the problem would have been with the VINEYARD (and not Janeen) shipping the wine as long as it fell within the guidelines of each state.
