I was inspired by another post where the bride lost 30lbs!!! Very commendable. I plan to loose 30 lbs by August 2016! I have a gym at work and from 12-12:45 they have classes everyday. I was inspired by another post where the bride lost 30lbs!!! Very commendable. I plan to loose 30 lbs by August 2016! I have a gym at work and from 12-12:45 they have classes everyday. Some cycle and bootcamp classes. I am also thinking about signing up with a trainer for a session on Saturdays or Sundays. I bought the 21 day fix but did not last 21 days. I'm thinking of adding that to my exercise regiment. How much do you want to loose? How do you plan to do it?

@beauty, one of my co-workers had one. He has a back condition that made sitting for long periods of time painful. I have the opposite. I don't think my back could handle being on my feet all day! I have considered an exercise ball to sit on. People who have them swear by them.

I lost 30lbs from the time we started dating until he proposed. I'm hoping to be able to lose 20 more by the wedding but if not I won't be devistated. We have a gym at work and I try to make it there 3 days a week for atleast 30 minutes on the eliptical and then some ab and arm workouts as well as cutting back on all the unhealthy food we both eat. It's something we are doing together which is really helping.

Nothing wrong with wanting to lose weight before a wedding. Just make sure that if you lose the weight, you can maintain it until the wedding, preferably after. You do not want to do a crazy diet, buy a dress, and then not be able to wear it later on. Just make sure that you can maintain!

All you ladies are beautiful and do not need to lose weight, but whatever makes you feel best it important. Good luck!!

Yes! I weighed 120 lbs lighter when I met him years ago, and I'd love to lose 50-100 pounds between now and next November. I'm so afraid of the dress looking like a tent when I'm walking down the aisle -- I want to be confident in the way I look, even though we'll be surrounded by friends and family who already love us both dearly.

I'd like to loose between 5-10 lbs, and work on toning my body over all. I want to look nice in my dress, but I also keep thinking about the honeymoon body that I'd like!!

I'm about 11 months out and have about 30lbs to loose. I work full time and I am finishing up my masters degree which I am doing an internship to complete. I am constantly on the go but find my food choices and the inability to work out consistently is kicking my butt right now. Here's to a better tomorrow Smiley smile

I think what we need to do is to try and make diets and exercise easier to stick to.

Personally, I follow a Paleo diet and I love it. I lost a lot of weight, it helped my constant tiredness and I go through life with much more positivity.

I’ve now actually taken an interest in cooking paleo meals, to help others I’ve written about one of my favourite cookbooks: http://paleocookbookreviews.com/review-the-paleo-recipe-book

Currently trying to do an hour of Zumba at least 4 times per week and monitoring portions/trying to stay away from carbs and sweets. I'm down like 5 pounds at the moment. But hope to make a lot more progress by the end of April!

I've lost a lot of weight the last few months, but seem to have plateaued. The good news is, it's been deemed that my weight loss as of late was simply due to "happy." How about that?

Now if only I could motivate myself to start taking advantage of when I have unrestricted use of the living room to start doing yoga again. I hate having an audience...

Anywho, I'm apparently down to a bridal 8 (though still hovering between 145-150lbs). Not worried about the size, but I'm wanting to hit my post-pregnancy weight (from back in 2008) of 120 by next December.

I'd like to loose 40lbs and I know it's a tall order. But I gained 20 lbs since getting engaged.

I'm in the process of losing 60 lbs, I'm down 15 lbs so far. I'm doing the Slimgenics program, it's pricey but it works. My date is 6.25.16! Wish me luck!

I plan to lose 20-30 pounds. I gained 30 pounds in college and I'd love to be back to the weight I was when I started dating my FH back in 2008.

My wedding isn't until July 2017 so I have lots of time.

For me, as long as I eat clean, limit caffeine/alcohol, and work out a few times a week I'm pretty good. When I swim consistently I can lose a decent amount of weight and tone up so I'm hoping to switch gyms to one with a pool.

I don't weigh myself due to some history I've had with eating disorders. Instead, I go by measurements and clothing size. I am currently at a size 8-12 (depending on the store), and would like to get back down to around a 6.

Above all, I want to firm up and develop exercise habits that will last a lifetime. I've been doing daily yoga and have started a great strength training program I found in a bridal fitness book. One thing for sure is that I need to firm up my arms!

I'm not planning to lose any for the wedding, because I'm awesome & the media and bridal industry has made us think we need to look a certain way to be badass brides. I'm awesome the way I am. So are you.

I'm not planning to lose a certain weight amount for the wedding, because I'm totally with Hillary Kate. Screw the dieting industry and their yo-yo BS. But my fiance and I have fallen into some unhealthy habits that make me low-energy. I'd like to work our way back to my old habits with him, so we can start married life the way we intend to carry on.

Before the unhealthy habits I was a size smaller, so that might happen. If it doesn't, meh. He loves me anyways!

The more the merrier, I mainly just want the rest of my jeans to fit. My July baby gave me a real nice muffin top to deal with. I started shakeology, gross any way you mix it so far, and we've had the same snack type foods in our house for a few months and I've had no interest in any of them until a week ago when I started to diet. I think it'd be easier if FH would just cook his own meals then I don't spend extra time in the kitchen. Out of sight out of mind.

I need to lose about 6 pounds to get back to where I was last summer while dress and honeymoon shopping (Christmas was a little too delicious), and if I lose up to about 15ish, that's great. More than that, and alterations start getting complicated, so I'll pause there and pick up again after the honeymoon for general health reasons. I'm already sitting at 90 pounds below my highest weight and it's killing me that I put those 6 pounds back on--I want to be able to say I lost 100 pounds and mean literally, exactly 100.

I'm using Weight Watchers and a Fitbit Flex currently. I lost the first chunk of weight by breastfeeding and doing yoga, then another chunk by jogging and the Atkins diet, then I hurt my knee, so now it's long walks, yoga, and relentless food tracking.

I'm wanting to lose 30 lbs by June 23. It's not going to be easy, but I can do it and stay healthy with it still.

I'm not following a "plan" per se. I have a fitbit, and the app on my phone allows me to track my calorie intake. When you set the plan up, it asks you what your goals are, etc, and guides you with how many calories you should eat.

Is it possible to lose 15 pounds in 3-4 months? I'm 5'6.5 and 140 lbs. Thanks!
