Will you be staying to help clean up after all is said and done?

Nope. Our venue does. We'll just have to grab a few things that are ours.

We're having our wedding at my parents' house. We haven't talked about it yet, but FH and I anticipate staying to help clean up. I feel like it's the right thing to do. But if anyone gives us a free pass on cleaning we'll probably take it.

Nope! that is one of the big reasons we picked and loved our venue! we drop everything off 3 days before, tell them how we want it set up. Then they decorate and take it all down! I will just have someone be incharge of the card box

We stayed and cleaned after our at-home reception. We did change out of our wedding dresses first, though. ;-)

Nope, I am paying them all that money, they can clean up.

We have to clean up too... Im thinking being a tad bit drunk will help in this, or at least make it entertaining. I will also be putting a few people in charge of checking things over before we leave!

We have to clean up before we go... so we are going to buy a box of garbage bags and throw in all the linen and the vendors will clean up after themselves. I just have to remember the cake stand, guest book and card box . Our families are really going to clean but I am more than willing to.

We had to stay and clean up too. We were done in about an hour or two.

With 5 younger siblings and a platoon of cousins, I think I''ll be good if it comes down to it.

However some venues I checked had provision for cleaning for an extra fee. Check up on much arrangement maybe?

I know what you're going through. We have to do it as well & I'm hoping people will help out too.
