Will his Dress Blues go with our color scheme?

So, I'm currently planning my wedding to my Marine and we are in love with the colors we've chosen... but aren't so sure about how they'll look against his dress blues. He told me that he doesn't mind wearing something else, but I also think it's very sweet to have him and his brother (best man) in their dress blues. What do you guys thing?

Any other military weddings out there? What were your colors?

Dress Blues go with potato sacks. It's hot either way

I will never understand the different colors in the coat and pants...but Dress Blues go with everything! Dress Whites go with everything....etc.

My colors were black & white with pink as an accent color. H wore his dress blues. At first I was stressed that he wasn't going to match anything, but OTW is right...they go with everything.

IMO...they go with everything. For me it's the meaning more than matching.

You could go aqua and red instead of aqua and orange.

But, uniforms don't have to match anything.

I actually went to a wedding last summer with very similar colors. The groom wore his dress blues, and I think it matched just fine.

Dress blues go with anything and everything. No one "sees" the color of them as much as they "see" the meaning behind them.
