Why? Do I need them? Chivari chairs.

Finished putting together all of the wedding invites today. Whew! Of course, I started thinking about other things to have for the wedding.

Venue has the white, wooden, fold up chairs (150) that are free of charge for us to use.

Those are fine for the ceremony, but why am I doubting them for the reception? My biggest concern is getting them from the ceremony to the reception. Why am I trying to complicate things, and RENT extra chairs?! Blehhh.

I'm having an Old South meets Steel Magnolia's theme. The wooden white chairs would probably fit that better than the chivari, but Idk why I keep revisiting the option of renting them.

Help! Keep me from spending more $$$! Lol!

I think the chivari chairs are lovely, but I looked them up at one of the rental places near my venue and they were listed at $7/chair. Um, yeah, not doing that.

In your case, I could see getting second chairs if it is going to be difficult to move them, but most people aren't going to notice the different chair types.

@Leblancly, YES, it's $7 a pop for chivari chairs here, also. The rental companies want to charge me over 1K to rent the chairs, delivery, set up, tear down, etc. Bleh, NO.

I am considering doing some NATURAL wood folding chairs for inside (A LOT MORE AFFORDABLE)... but if my venue comes back and says, "hey, we can move the chairs for no charge, and we can do it quickly between ceremony/cocktail hour," then I'll just leave it there.
