Why are you getting married?

Yeah this seems like a very important thing the two of you need to discuss and work through. I would be taken back if my FH questioned my intentions for marrying him....

If my husband questioned why I wanted to marry him, and stayed because I wanted the title, then I would have laughed, and had a nice long talk with him. Couples counseling is a great step to take. I decided I wanted to marry my husband because I wanted a partner to go through life with-all the bad and all the good.

For a myriad of reasons, including tax benefits and the fact that if I can get on his health insurance I can go part time at work and focus on IVF and starting a family.

I'm getting married because I love my FH. Because I couldn't imagine my life without him. Because YES I want the title.

You two should really have an open and honest conversation about this. There's a deeper issue here

This is a very personal question. FH and I want to get married because we want to make that commitment before we buy a house together and have children. It’s very difficult to explain why because there are so many aspects and reasons.

We did have a discussion and resolved al matters, he does want to marry me with good intentions and loves me deeply just as much as I love him. I made it clear that I’m not his ex and I don’t plan on leaving him. We’ve even done a prenup to assure his family I’m not after his mommy like his ex. I feel like after this our bond grew stronger and I’m so happy to have cleared this up. We still are going to counseling
