Why are entrance songs so hard to pick!

Our tastes were very "classic rock," so I don't expect most to use these - just sharing for ideas lol. We had our bridal party/parents enter to "Sharp Dressed Man" by ZZTop. Our entrance was "Baba O'Riley by The Who. That song intro was KILLER at full volume.

Here are some of my favorites from weddings I've been at -

“Crazy in Love” - Beyonce ft. JAY Z

“Levels” - Avicii

"High and Higher" - Jackie Wilson

Hmm I am letting my wedding party pairs pick their songs. I was just thinking about this also haha. Less stress on me, they decide what they want. I am having trouble picking a recessional song after the ceremony!

Haha. We only have two people on either side so we decided against picking different songs and are just going to use one. It is so hard! I have been working on the document that the DJ sent us to fill out and we are stuck on this!

We’re going to do 24K Gold, but some other ideas are Livin’ On A Prayer, That’s What I Like, The Greatest Show

We did a remix version of marry you by Bruno Mars

We did "Jump Around" by House of Pain, and our bridal party had "Bring 'em Out" by T.I.

If I could pick again, I'd do "Suit & Tie" by Justin Timberlake.

We struggled hard with this too. I finally just chose Dynamite- Taio Cruz

To enter the reception we did Let's Go by Ne-Yo & Calvin Harris. We wanted something with a good beat, that would still sound good while the DJ calls out everyone's names over it. We had that song play for everyone that got introduced, I didn't see a point in changing the song for each pair/3 that walked in.

This was one of the hardest choices for H and I to make! Ultimately we decided on Welcome to the Jungle by Guns n Roses for our entrance.

These have been floating around my mind, but not set in stone yet

Bridal party: ? I was thinking Now that we found love

Our entrance: Finesse by Bruno Mars

The parents and officiant (my brother) will walk out to Oye Como Va by Santana. The bridal party will walk out to All of the Lights by Kanye West, and we will walk out to Stepping Out by Big Gipp. (Skipping the little intro part)

We're doing Thunderstruck by AC/DC.

Another good one is Let's Get This Party Started by Pink.

This was actually the hardest part of our song list too. We finally decided that the bridal party will enter to "Celebrate" by Kool and the Gang and we will enter to "We Will Rock You" by Queen.

I did not know this was a thing. I don't think it was on the song list from our DJ. So they play a song while the bridal party walks in and the DJ announces them over the song?

Yes, that's how it works. Usually people pick an upbeat song to play and the DJ will introduce the grandparents, parents bridesmaids and groomsmen then best man and maid of honor and then the bride and groom and from there they usually go right into the first dance.
