My fiancé works nights 11-7 wen-sun I work week days 930-630. He woke up still tired after dinner. So I am now laying in bed with him. So I can spend some time with him. Anyone else do this?

Yepp! My fiance works night shift 12 hours. He normally has a 3 day shift but has picked up a lot of overtime due to the wedding. We see each other maybe for a half hour when I get home from work before he goes to work. Sometimes it's tough because I think it affects his communication skills (not mine) where he'll forget to tell me important things or forget things I tell him. But it's good money and we make do with the situation! I get the bed to myself with the dog most nights haha

The week my husband proposed to me got switched to work swing shift (3pm to 11pm) Tuesday - Saturday. By the time he gets home I'm going to sleep and he always stays up a little bit to wind down. Our only time to spend together are Saturday mornings and Sundays, oh yeah and Monday nights. Wedding planning was really hard because of this. We couldn't really sit and go through plans, I would take it one task at a time, for example when I was choosing flowers I did a bunch of research on flowers I wanted and what was available, I also got a lot of quotes and printed visuals to compare what we liked and did not like. I would write notes, highlight, etc and leave it for hubby. The next day he'd take it read my notes, look through everything and then on Sunday we'd have a 10 minute conversation about who and what we liked and when we'd meet with them. I had to find ways to make it work. Now that we're married and in the same schedule we really try and make the most of the time we spend together and are planning our 1st year marriage anniversary.

My FH works Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm. I work Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri 8am-5:30pm; Tues 1-5pm. He also works mandatory overtime every Saturday for the last month of each quarter.

I fall asleep on the couch before he gets home and stay there next to him until he goes to bed between 2 or 3am.

We do get most weekends and all holidays together at least. I am very grateful for that!

I work 8-5 and my fiance works 12noon-8pm. He gets up with me in the mornings and helps me get ready for work, and I wait up and we watch Netflix for an hour or two before bed. We spend a lot of time apart but we spend every weekend together. I kind of think it's a good thing because we both have our own time apart in our home to do "alone stuff" that we may not do together.
