We hired our officiant after meeting him at a bridal show. He was wonderful and our ceremony was beautiful.

We asked one of my past priests to officiate- he is really close to my parents since they were very involved with the church.
The priest i originally wanted who had known me and my parents/grandparents since forever, had passed away while I started dating my fiancé (they sadly never got to meet). The priest I asked was friends with him so it’s the closest thing in my heart.

Our officiant is a friend of my FHs family. He is a pastor, and he has married all of my FHs siblings and his cousin. He says we are the last ones to "complete the set". 🤣

My aunt (who is my favorite despite me saying I don't have favorites) and I am so so excited. She was so honored when we asked her if she would do ours after she expressed interest in doing weddings as a side job with her church.

We were blessed to find a Rev. local to the venue after the bishop of our family church backed out 60 days before the wedding. I believe it was meant to happen though, our ceremony was perfect.

My SIL who is a rabbi officiated. However, it was her first wedding and she filled the marriage license out wrong and the county clerk rejected it! So we have to make time to do it over again lol.

I asked a friend of mine I used to serve with in the military to do it for us. He is fully ordained and I couldn't think of anyone better to do it!

A good friend/framily member of ours, who has married other friends.

He worked closely with us to create a very personalized ceremony, and I'm so glad we got to have him, instead of a priest who didn't know me.

We were going to ask a friend to do it but it turns out that's not going to work out. So since our florist, who is a friend of my FH, is also the mayor of the town that we live in we plan on asking him. Hopefully he's willing because we haven't thought about anyone else.

We don’t have a church that we are members of so we wanted someone close to us to officiate. My uncle is ordained so we asked him to do it and he cried when we asked, he was so honored! I’m excited to have the wedding be all about family.
