Who’s in Your Wedding Party?

I had three - my best friend and both sisters-in-law (I get along well with both of them) and H had four - his best friend, his brother, and my brother, and his nephew, who was 9 and a jr gm (and who also escorted both moms up the aisle, which was *adorable*)

I always new one of my cousins would be my MOH, I'm close with all my cousins and we're all girls, but my maid of honor is my Irish twin, we were born 9 months apart to the day and raise as such. I then have 3 of my other cousins who I am close with, my best friend who actually introduced me and FH, my FH's younger cousin and one of my FSIL. I was originally only going to have my four cousins and best friend, but FH kept adding guys to his side and I didn't want uneven sides lol.

FH has his two brothers as Best Men, his younger cousin, and then four friends.

For some reason i always liked the look of an odd number bridal party - not sure why haha. but i have 2 BFFs so i knew for sure they were gonna be in it. and then 2 of my other really close friends i always knew. the fifth person was always variable to me but in the end i decided on it being another close friend haha but the 5th person i think was variable to me because in different years of your life you have certain people youre close to and then you drift apart - so that's kind of what happened with me. there were people i was close to at the time and in the end we weren't anymore

That's good that she also liked it! I only told my girls what color they needed and then let them pick whatever dress they wanted from Azazie, there are so many decisions to make it I didn't want to decide on dresses so colors were easier lol

My fiancé knew who he wanted, so I asked the same number of friends as he did. My sister is my MOH because we're close.

We are having a very small, intimate destination wedding, so we are keeping our wedding party small. My two best friends will be my maid of honor and man of honor, and my Fiancé will have his cousin and 2 best friends stand with him.
To be honest though, I would have been perfectly happy not having a wedding party at all. But my fiancé got excited and asked people before we even talked about it 🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

I have 6 total: I've got my sister as my MOH, a couple friends who I've known since I was young, and a few friends who I've known for the past 5-10 years.
