Me, me, me, me! Getting married on March 14th!

I’m stressed to my gills. My brother called last night to warn us that they might not be able to come due to Coronavirus. It’s day to day. My boys are both off sick today full of bad colds and I don’t want to fall ill either!
And I’m so stressed that my honeymoon will get canceled to Florida because of Coronavirus. I hardly slept last night thinking about everything!

Congratulations wedding twin!!! I am trying to remain sane by remember nothing else matter as long as me and future hubby say "I do". Everything else at this point will just have to happen. I know that doesn't help much but we will get through this!!!!

March 15th!!!!!! It's a bit surreal at the moment. Don't feel nervous or anxious though so that's a good sign. Haha

Ladies and Gents!! Wow! It is time! This week is crammed with so much. I HAVE to make myself a schedule or I will forget everything. But one amazing thing I just stumbled upon, my iPhone has the notes that I’ve got tons of wedding notes, ceremony, etc. but I found that you can MAKE A CHECKLIST! So you write down everything and then as you check it off as done, it goes to the bottom instead of just disappearing! It’s crazy! I love it! So you can scan back over everything you checked. It’s so nice! Good luck ladies! I hope everything goes perfect!!!

3.14.20!!!!!! Everything is ready to go for our BIG day. Looking forward to our celebration of love!

I honestly didn't stress about anything up until this caronavirus happened. Sending positive vibes into the universe that no flights get cancelled and everyone is able to get here and back home easily and safely! Also sending positive vibes that my honeymoon to Greece and Italy are not cancelled in July!

Got married in California March 14! I think that was the hardest week I've ever gone through in my entire 34 years. Every single day was a huge blow because of the increasing growth of COVID-19. It was hard to understand how much of a change would be happening by the time the actual day arrived and perhaps if we knew everything that we knew by the Sunday after we would've postponed... I loved my actual wedding, but in the week leading up to it, 30 guests cancelled, our officiant cancelled on Friday, and worst of all my FH's parents cancelled, and it's all absolutely understandable to be sure, it was just hard to update all the constant changes and it was so stressful. I forgot to wear my veil during the ceremony which I didn't even realize until the next morning (which was devastating at the time). But we DID have so much fun and it was lovely. It wasn't until Sunday when the state was advising a lockdown to take place soon that we realized our guests weren't completely safe. And I regret this the most. It was difficult to absolutely know the right call to make the week of-- it seemed like the virus catapulted in seriousness by Friday and by then all of our guests who were coming were in town. I loved my wedding-- the ceremony (even minus veil) was beautiful and we had so much fun with our guests. I've checked up on all of them since and they've gotten home safely (including my cousin who had to fly home early before Canada's borders closed) and no one has shown any signs of illness and everyone has followed quarantine guidelines. If it were a week before the wedding everything would've been okay. And if it were a week later there would be no question to postpone. It was just such a hard experience, I'm wondering if any of you went through a similar thing?

Wishing you all so much happiness and congratulations Smiley smile

We were married in March 14 as well 😊 We went through quite similar!! The 2 weeks leading up to it were stressful enough without COVID, and then that affected our final count literally up until the day before. We had a destination wedding, so it was already small...35 people were to attend, we ended up with 25 (including wedding party), which wasn't bad considering the circumstance, but we lost 2 groomsmen prior... One a week before due to family illness and then the day before because of the COVID scare and increasing travel issues. On top of it, somehow the dress shop didn't put my hair pieces or veil eith my dress like they were supposed to (I was so upset and devastated about that...I did get my money back and the pieces later), so my matron of honor, myself, and one of our other friends had to make an emergency trip to Hobby Lobby the day of to see what we could find. It all worked out. Everything was beautiful!! The ceremony was exactly how I pictured it would be. The only thing I regret is stressing to the point that I just wanted it to be done, and then the day was so busy, and went so fast, I feel like I didn't get to take it all in. Luckily our photographer was amazing, so I get to fully experience things in retrospect. Lol Hopefully we'll get to take our honeymoon something by the end of the year, if not, maybe we'll postpone it to our one year anniversary. I'm glad even with all the hiccups, our days weren't ruined or had to be canceled like so many people just a week after us.

Just wanted to give a belated congratulations to all of my March 14th wedding twins and all those that had their big day that week. We all pretty much just made it without having to cancel our weddings altogether, though I know for many of us, there were many stressful changes and cancellations last minute. I truly hope everyone was able to enjoy their day in spite of this. My condolences on any cancelled honeymoons. We'll get there eventuallySmiley smile Stay safe everyone!
