This week is my wedding. I’m
Honestly freaking out cause I still have stuff I’ve not been able to get done. I need my seating chart printed out on 5X7 craft paper and my welcome sign completed. I also need to print out my menu. These are two things I DIY myself since it was so expensive to get this done. I’m having trouble doing the calligraphy for my welcome sign. We decided to do it on glass frame with no back ground. I’ve tried tracing it with an oil paint pen but it’s come out so terrible. I’m not sure what else to do anymore. I’m about to give up on my welcome sign. Wedding is on Sunday. What do you think I should do? Welcome sign is the one with the white flower to the right ( I left out the glass as I’m trying to figure out what to do)

Try projecting onto the glass and tracing it. If you don't have a projector print it out, tape to back, trace, and remove the printed page. Try a chalk paint pen or even sharpie.

I’m getting married this weekend too!! 🎉☺️🎉
We’re beyond excited! We’ve verified all vendors and now we’ve just been working on little things that we want to add to the ceremony & reception. We’re trying not to stress to much because we know that this is a happy time and the most important thing is that we are all going to be together for this special day and everything else is a bonus! I hope y’all have a great wedding as well ☺️

I have an oil based pen but not a sharpie. I think the sharpy is drier so it may be easier to work with. I’ve traced it tons of times with an oil based pen and it just looks disgusting lol

Congratulations! We're wedding date buddies! So I decided to do the same for both my wedding sign and my seat chart, but my handwriting and artistic skills are worse than poor. So what I did for my welcome sign was follow this YT video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=untJzc-8xT8&list=PLS4fSJgWpr4EgRvLUlXy_KnL-a_txlkhd&index=2) and it actually came out pretty good. There are a few kinks that are driving me crazy but realistically they're hard to see. And for my seating chart I created the list online with Canva and printed it out at staples since no matter what I did, I felt it was terrible. Those frames are absolutely beautiful and I definitely think you should use them. If ultimately you really don't feel comfortable making the sign you can always use a frame as a cool photo prop! Good luck and congrats!!

We are getting married this Saturday, 1/11/2020!!! Just had our rehearsal tonight and it was so magical, I can only imagine just in a few hours how spectacular it will be!!! Some advice our priest gave me tonight was to remember “Nothing else matters, other than marrying each other. Not the flowers, not the food, not the celebration...just the significance of your union!” That really stuck with me and eased all my worries of making sure everything had to be perfect! I had surrendered the thought of perfection, of course nothing could be perfect, but I fully embraced the thought of things being imperfect. I have peace of mind with that now. So focus on the marrying part and not all that entails of the celebration basically. Lol Cheers lovelies!!! Congratulations to all! ✌🏼💛👏🏼🥰
