Whole new plan

So now church is closed. Reception hall now closed.

New venue is at a local park pavilion. My question is should I serve alcohol before we say our vows? We're doing everything in the same pavilion. The whole dream is shattered and the new one begins ...

I've seen some venues that have the option to offer champagne or sangria to guests before the ceremony starts. This is totally up to you and when you want the drinking to begin. If you do serve anything before the ceremony I would choose something simple and light.

I would just provide water beforehand and serve the alcohol after the ceremony.

I think a signature drink or punch or would be nice beforehand.

I would do it afterwards too

Definitely afterwards only. We went to a wedding where there was alcohol before the ceremony, and some of the guests were well on their way to trashed before the ceremony
