Who would pay for bridesmaids' manicures?

I was considering asking all my bridesmaids if they would like to go get manicures with me the week before the wedding. Since it would be an option for them, not a requirement, would it be assumed they would pay for it or me? I am paying for their dresses and all other accessories, and they are all doing their own hair (I asked if they wanted it done by the lady who is doing mine, and they all said no). I really don't want to be tacky or insensitive here, so if I should pay for it, then please tell me and I will adjust accordingly. :-)

I wouldn't feel right having the bride pay for me so hopefully they catch the casual drift in your message and not expect it

I agree with pp's ... I told my girls I was going to "this place" on Wednesday and if anyone wanted to join me, let me know so we could try and coordinate a time.

I highly recommend the gel polish. When I get mine done, it lasts at least a month. If you do gel, you could easily go a week before (though I know you said you're going Thursday before your wedding). I'm even contemplating going a week before because sometimes my fingers get a little red from the manicure depending on how sensitive my skin is, and needs a few days to clear up.

Maybe you should have said like "Hey want to come on Friday to get mani pedis? Its $20 for each. Let me know so I can schedule accordingly."
