All of the groomsmen are from my fiances side of the family. I was under the impression that my dad would walk her down and then circle back around for me, but my mom does not like that idea. Are there any other ways we could do this? I would love any and all ideas!

I don't have any brothers either. My JOP suggested either one of my moms brothers, BIL or my dad. And I think we are going with my BIL.

What I am doing is walking with both my parents down the aisle because they both have raised and both will be giving me away to my fiance, not just my father.

My mother, who is matron of honor will be walked down by my FH. So he'll walk out with my mom instead of with the groomsmen and officiant. My mom definitely wanted walked down by her soon to be son in law and my FH wants to walk her down. I think it's so precious.

I think anyone that she is comfortable walking down the aisle with would be fine. And i do not think they have to be in the wedding party. I have no wedding party except a flower girl. However I did want the mothers to be formally acknowledged by walking down the aisle, so fh will escort his mother down the aisle then stand at the altar- my brother will follow and escort my mother. originally fh cousin was going to escort my mom but will have to miss the wedding. My main concern was just that she was escorted. i think you can find someone so that no one has to double back.. Good Luck!!!

My dad isn't in my life and FHs mom passed away years ago. Was thinking of having my mom and his dad walk together

Our ushers are doing this. They're not family, but it will work well.

I had my mom and dad walk me down the aisle. But my mom started crying, so that made me crying. Happy tears, but tears none the less. I won't walk my daughter down the aisle because I know I would cry. Her brother will walk me down
