From what I have seen/heard is you pay for your FH wedding ring and he pays for your engagement ring which costs a lot more plus your wedding ring. Picking out his ring is up to him or you, or whatever you two decide. Usually since the FH will be the one wearing it, he will want some input in the ring he will get. If he likes titanium, you should consider tungsten also. It is a stronger metal then titanium so it doesn't scratch like titanium does. Also, no matter which metal you choose make sure the manufacturer offers a lifetime warranty that covers re-sizes and replacements because finger sizes will change over your lifetime and titanium can't be re-sized. Larson Jewelers has a huge selection of all metals and they have a website also. That's where we will be getting ours.

We picked them out together. As far as paying, I paid for his and since I have 2 bands and he already bought my e- ring, I am paying for one of my bands and he is paying for the other.
