We met first on OkCupid and he messaged me first. He started right off with inviting me to see a play since he saw in my profile that I love theatre and he did too.

He did! We both worked at the same place, but different departments. At the time, my dad was in the hospital with kidney cancer. The night we found out, my fiancé came to the hospital at midnight after he got off work. That’s when I knew he could be the one.

And i almost thought about not going on a second date had the first date not been so amazing and my friend convinced me to give him another shot and thought the hand grabbing was sweet.
