Why are you getting dressed then undressed then dressed again?

I think you could get solo photo shot from your first look. Instead of putting the dress on take photos and then take it off .... It seems complicated. Just give you and FH a little bit more time for photos.

Wow - that is crazy early start for a 4pm wedding! We're having a 4pm wedding - I was planning on starting hair and make-up around 1pm at the earliest, dress on around 3.30 for a couple of pics with the bridesmaids and then ready to go...

I'll go ahead and guess that the place where you're getting dressed the second time is NOT photogenic, though getting undressed would be a new one to me.

Consider what the people helping you get dressed will be wearing since, often, they're in those photos, too.

Nicola, its all about how many pics are happening before the ceremony. Plus, she has to change locations.

I would not get dressed and undressed. Your dress is going to end up getting a little dirty no matter what.

ETA: We're starting showers and breakfast at 8am and starting hair/makeup for the girls around 11.

I'm far off, but we're doing a 3:30 ceremony (no first look) and we're starting hair and makeup at a salon (5 min from hotel and venue) at 10:30. Is that too late?

The only reason we are starting soooo early is because I have 8 bridesmaids (each is getting one service hair or makeup which takes 30 minutes each) I only have one makeup artist doing both hair and makeup otherwise it would cost another 100-150 to bring in another assistant. So, we need to start early to get everyone done in time for lots of pictures etc!

Yes, my venue with the bridal suite isn't the best for photo opportunities. I reserved the presidential suite at an embassy suites in Scottsdale that is AMAZING with floor to ceiling windows with amazing decor and great photo opportunities.

The reason I want to change out of it and then back into it when I get to my venue is because I can't get my dress too dirty... I have a second wedding with my side of the family in Michigan (some live in AZ but most live in MI and my grandmother who is paralyzed in a nursing home would never be able to fly out here to AZ) so nonetheless, I need to keep my dress as clean as possible lol!
