Who defined the relationship? You or your fiancé(e)?

Oh man, it's hard to remember (and it's only been almost 3 years lol). I think I might have said something about it and he said something too...at least I remember the date!

Before our first date I told him not to ask me to be his girlfriend for at least another week and no kissing because I hadn’t had my first kiss yet. 😂 exactly a week later he asked me to be his girlfriend. And exactly a week after that, he was teaching me how to skateboard and I went in for the kiss because I wanted it to be perfect and it just seemed like the most perfect moment.

We both did. We say down and just talked it out after a few months of dating

Me . I asked him what are we doing and at that time he said dating exclusively and then 2 weeks later it was he told me he loved me and that was that

I initiated the conversation about our relationship, but we both agreed on what we wanted.

He did. He let me know that he wanted to be with me. I was unsure at first.

We were talking for a few months and on new years he asked me to be his girlfriend. So it was pretty clear from the start.

I think it was both of us more or less. We both knew early on what we meant and we just made it clear

We both did really, i guess by me saying YES though, i did.

Right from the start we both expressed our hesitation with jumping right into a relationship. We had both been single for over a year, and had really rough previous relationships. But, at the same time, we both secretly knew it was much more than a fling. He was the first one to ask if I would officially be his girlfriend, and turned him down (lol) because I wasn't quite ready and really wanted to make sure this was right (I been single for so long, I wasn't giving that up for nothing!). A few weeks later, I asked him if he'd be my boyfriend

He did. He tried to claim me as a girlfriend in month two of us dating and I wasn't with it. I gave him a version of no girlfriend speech 8x times in the course of us dating for the year that we dated before he proposed.

Probably me. We were “good friends” for months before I had to key him in the he better not be kissing all his “good friends”
