Love it 17 years here too but I did buy my dress. As we just started our shared account for our household and the wedding is separate at this point. Thanks for sharing.

I bought both of mine, but it was only $530 total so it wasn’t really a big deal. If I had wanted a crazy expensive dress I would’ve pulled from our joint account.

I bought my dress but my mom helped me with it. I wasn't expecting that at all but gladly accepted (plus she wouldn't take no for an answer)

I had planned to buy mine, but it turned out my mom really wanted to buy my dress, so she is!

Me and my FH have paid for everything so far for our wedding. My mom said she's going to pay for my dress but I get married next year in September and still haven't really gone dress shopping with her. So I'm thinking me and my FH will be paying for my dress.

My Great Grandma made my dress! Originally for my Grandma (her DIL) in 1941! My mom paid for the alterations to make it fit me and repair some of the age damage (it is 78 years old now!).
