Who are you walking down the aisle with?

I asked my mom to walk me. I suprised her with this puzzle I made on her birthday. That was the day I discovered she is aweful at puzzles 🤣🤣 It felt like it took forever for her to put it together. Although in hindsight I was probably just anxious. Lol

I am planning on asking my grandfather! While I don’t have a close relationship my dad, I’ve been very fortunate to have my grandpa! He’s always been there for me and I just felt it is right to ask him to walk me! Apparently my mother already told him I’m planning on asking and he cried! Let’s hope that means a yes!

Solo. I've never liked the idea of being given away and I would much rather walk by myself.

My dad passed away unexpectedly in 2017. I asked my brother last year to walk me down the aisle. He is very touched

I've never viewed it as being given away as property since that custom has been long dead for centuries. You're simply being being escorted to calm your nerves so you walk at a slow pace without tripping or freezing on your own. To each their own.


I'm not close to my father and my grandpa will not be able to attend. I could walk by myself but knowing me with crowds where all eyes are on me, I would either speed walking or frozen in place, neither of which is ideal. I will more than likely ask a close friend to escort me.
