Usually the groom, gm, fathers, grandfathers and ushers. I have never seen the minister had one, but you could if you wanted. Also if you have any distingueshed guests who are playing music or participating in a special way it would be a nice gesture as well.

Yes, Ushers get one, and minister gets one also.

Along with dad's and grandpa's, and also ring bearer.

I am trying to save a little money and trying to figure out where I can take back not add. I don't want to give the minister one if it isn't necessary...

My FH is getting one along with his BM and groomsman and the two Jr. groomsman, the ring bearer, the officiant, and both of our fathers. Our mothers will also have a corsage. We are not having ushers because it's an outside wedding and they can seat themselves. We are having four of my teenage cousins where one is the guest book attendant, two are the program attendant, and the last one will be my attendant before the wedding. I'm still unsure if they need a little corsage or something.

I am struggling with this as well. We're for sure doing the dads, groomsmens, and ushers. However, we're undecided about the officiant. I was not planning to, but then my mom brought up that she thought we should. I still don't think we will be giving him one.

We are not doing any. We are having pocket squares with the tuxes. Every wedding I have been to, the grooms gets smushed with all the hugs and the other guys they end up just taking thier coats off anyway. So we are saving money here and not doing them at all.

I am not giving one to the minister, I don't think he would wear it on his robe anyway.

We gave them to the ushers, the ring-bearers, the fathers and the best man, we did not have groomsmen, but if we did they would have got one too.

We are giving ones to the groom of course, his BM and GM, his uncle(he stepped into the father figure roll when FH's dad passed away, and to our officiant because he is FH's best friend who got ordained to marry us. We will not be giving the RB one because he will only be 9 months old and we are afraid he might eat it.

Sorry but to me it's too obvious if the minister is not wearing one...and they only range to about $10..so you wont be saving that much. The thought to not give him one shouldnt cross anyone's mind. He's so important...He's marrying you!

My brother is an Usher so he gets one, but if he wasnt an usher...he'd still get one. Everyone in the fam! Dont forget the courages for the mothers and grandmothers. (those are cheap too, maybe $12-$15)

I've heard both ways, some brides give the minister one to have him coordinate with everyone, and to include him in the wedding. Other brides decide to just do the groom, gm's, father/grandfather and ushers.

@ *alliecat*,, the ministers wouldn't be much but if I could cut his with ushers I could be saving $50 right there lol. My florist is charging 12 for each one...hmmm and i think I might knock off my great aunts corsages because those three will be another $36 off...see I am almost at $100 off for just kicked off a few things lol. IDK we will see. Maybe everything will work out money wise and I won't have to be so cheap lol.

Hope it works out for you!

My sister is making all of our bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages. What's one more boutonniere anyway? She said that it may cost $2-$3 to make total anyway.

I wouldn't put one on the minister. After all, if all your groomsmen and ushers wear tuxes, you wouldn't expect the minister to wear one.
