Which vendors do I feed?

Erin Wood, on June 13, 2017 at 2:10 PM

I've got 2 photographers, DJ, photo booth attendant, and videographer. EDIT- when I said "I've got" I meant I've got them on my list to feed. Am I missing anyone?

Look in the contracts...most vendors require a meal.

All that will be there the entire time. How long is the photo booth for? That might be the only one you don't have to if it's only a couple hours

I think photo booth is 5 hours and it'll be during dinner so it would be nice to feed him/her.

That sounds good what you have. Some people mentioned your officiant as well and DOC. Even though i planned on my officiant in my plate count, he said he was going to leave after ceremony. I didn't include my DOC due to she works for my venue and its "in her contract to work and not munch", as I was told. But if your DOC doesn't work for your venue...feed them.

All my vendors stated they wont be eating. I thought this was weird, but they explained basically vendors come prepared whether they bring their own snacks or eat before event.

I think all of them. My baker is an exception because she's leaving and coming back and my MUA is leaving at a certain time as well

    Here is who I fed:

    DJ (2)

    DOC (2)

    Photographers (2)

    Cinematographers (2)

    Photo booth attendant (1)

Unless you are requiring your H/MU person to stay, that would be the only other person I could think of that you're missing. Otherwise, you seem to be fine.

I would check the contracts. I have to feed the photographer and the DJ.

My DOC specifically said NOT to feed her, she doesn't like to eat while she's working/in front of guests.

My videographer contract doesn't say, so I'm checking in with them to see what's required.

To the people who say all- Are you feeding your florist, decorators, baker, servers, bartenders, etc? Those are all vendors. I was kind of looking for more specifics.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll look at my contracts and see if there is any mention of meals. If not I'll just stick to the list I have. My DOC works at the venue. I'll look at the contract but I'm pretty sure I don't need to feed the staff at the resort.
