    Engagement is shorter by far...
    We were dating 3.5 years (after 2ish months of casually talking) before getting engaged.
    Engagement is only 10 months. 😂
    But, as cliché as it may sound, I knew after out first date that I was going to marry him someday.

    Engagement for sure. Dating takes years sometimes. We've been together for 2 years , friends a total of 4 year and our engagement will only be 5 months long. I see it as dating is the time it takes to know you're ready and want to marry the person you're with and the engagement is just the planning in between.

    The engagement stage will be the shortest for us. We were a couple for 3 years before he proposed (we are BOTH terrible with dates, haha) and the engagement is about a year and a half.

    Dating stage by under half! Only dated for 10 months before becoming engaged, but our engagement is 24 months!
