Which linen colors look best?

Michelle, on February 12, 2020 at 4:07 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 25

My wedding coordinator is already asking for a decision since it’s best to pre-order with their linen company ahead of time. I can’t decide between a light blush/white or navy for linens and napkins. My colors are burgundy, blush, navy and gold. I was thinking of an amber/gold up lighting to set the mood of the room. Please help! What looks best? Also, should cake table, buffet table, etc. be same colors?

If the plates or chargers are gold then I do think Navy linen is nice with it all

I think guest tables should all have white linens then you can accent cake table & buffet tables with the darker color.

I think white or ivory will look great. Just pick based on which of those will be in your flowers.

You think it’ll look okay even without gold plates? Those are an extra like $300! Lol I’m thinking $1.75 per plate.

Hmm...maybe I’ll do ivory table cloths with navy napkins...to incorporate my blue since it won’t be in flowers.

That or navy. Someone suggested accent navy colors for all other tables except guests. I think that sounds good. Will run it by fiance! Thanks all.

We did ivory table cloths with navy napkins for dinner. For the extra tables (DJ table, cake/dessert table, gift table, cocktail tables) we did navy table cloths. It looked really nice together! I think this would be a great option for you based on your colors!

I don’t think you need the gold plates although they are very pretty. Here’s what my tables looked like with red linens and white plates. Which linen colors look best? 7

Actually the guys will be wearing navy sooo I don’t want them to end in with the table linen in photos at the head table. So maybe all other accent tables besides head table can be navy lmao.

No one remembers tablecloths and napkins. Don’t pay extra.

Here is a view from our dinner tables and a photo of our cake/dessert table. The navy cloth on the cake/dessert table was also on our gift table, DJ table, and high cocktail round tables. The navy color table cloth matched the napkin. Our wedding colors were burnt orange and navy with hints of gold, burgundies, and greenery. de12bb1731198dac08a9888bfabfaf1b-xxlargeimage-protect.gif

Thank you! I like it, fiance and I decided ivory and navy napkins with that color of lighting...Was your head table navy? Did the guys wear navy? I'm wondering if I should just keep it ivory so they don't look like they blend in with the table cloth.

All of our dinner tables were ivory cloths with navy napkins and gold flatware. We had a lot of greenery and candles on our tables and they stood out better on the ivory cloths.
Our bridesmaids wore navy dresses. Our bridesmen wore navy pants, white button up shirt, navy suspenders, and navy and burnt orange polkadot bowties. The contrast with the ivory tablecloth was nice.
