Which is your favorite vendor to work with?

I have to say my florist. I wasn’t even going to hire one, I was going to DIY the flowers. However, I want to just relax and take in the day. I found the florist and did a consultation. I showed her what I wanted and she immediately got it. She’s been really wanting to try the aesthetic I’m going for, so it’s like we were meant for each other lol She’s just super sweet and down to earth. I’m looking forward to working with her.

Really like are caterer, the first caterer that came back to us only talk to us for 4 minutes on the phone. Got are date wrong and didn’t follow what we wanted for are meals just made stuff up for it. Stuff that costed more then what we wanted. I called the other caterer, we talked for 30 minutes on the phone. She got are date right, let us pick are main courses and are letting us do a tasting course for the sides. She doesn’t charge vendors meals and been super responsive and super sweet. 😊

I really liked my dj who was also my photobooth person. he was really accommodating to what i wanted

That first caterer sounds awful! Glad you found someone you like and who works with you.

Photographer! He’s super friendly and does great work. He was the first vendor I booked after our venue because I really wanted him for our wedding. We actually are planning an engagement shoot sort of last minute a few months before the wedding because my fiancé and I got engaged a year ago and never cared for one but he’s just so great that we decided to have one anyway even if last minute. We’re really excited to meet him and get to know him before our wedding day!


But aside from that I am also excited to work with our day of coordinator and officiant as well. They’re both great and we’ve loved talking to both of them

View Quoted Comment Ultimately I just don’t want to put too much on my plate. I want to enjoy the week and the day and not worrying about transporting the flowers and setting everything up. My florist is supplying the flowers, candles, etc and then breaking it all down after. I for sure don’t want to deal with breaking things down.

Is it common for DJs to also do a photo booth? I've never heard of that.

Honestly, all our vendors ended up being so lovely. Our venue were super accommodating and made the day an absolute breeze.

but I think our photographers were my favourites. My florist was one of my closest friends, so I don't think she counts, she just knew me and what I'd want! But, they were with us all day and absolutely went well above and beyond, checking in on my father in law who'd recently had surgery and wasn't comfortable sitting during dinner, even scrubbing out the bottom of my skirt with soda water when it got filthy getting photos! They were honestly angels and we were so grateful for how easy they made things for us.

I've seen a lot of DJs offer other services other than just DJ and MC! my DJ happened to be a person who had a bunch of other services offered
