Which Bride Are You?

I was without a doubt the Type A bride, and the Anti-Bride ( my dress, how we spent the day, etc.).

Uhhhhhhhhh.


I’m the princess bride. And I only feel a little bad about it. 😂😂😂

I’m a type A bride!! I definitely have spreadsheets galore with a kinds of different things on them. One for guests, budget, hotels, cost comparisons of bakeries, what different parents are brining (they live oot and we’ve been collecting vases and such through them).

Total DIY bride! We did a Renaissance fair/ time traveler theme, and given we had help from some artisans on Etsy. My wife and I assembled our own outfits, we found our wedding swords at the Ohio Renn Fest, I made the shields in our sword fighting pit (foam swords and shields), I decorated (red and black table clothes with silver and gold candy on them), steamers in red and black, two posts rapped in rainbow steamers (both for LGBT and as a 'crossing the rainbow bridge' to enter the reception). We had wine, show tunes, s'more roasting, and an 'alter' for people to put cards on. And we welcomed everyone to dress up so I had every character from Hawaiian tourists, to Doctor Who and the Tardis to traditional Renn-fair-goers and more!

I'm somehow a mix between Type A, anti-bride, and bridechilla. My friends will text me to ask how wedding planning is going and how they're excited and I'm just like oh yeah, I am getting married. Haha.

I don’t really identify with any of them... people compare me to princesses all the time, my dress is a ball gown, but my wedding isn’t themed that way at all. I am planning things myself and making lists like type A, but it’s pretty basic stuff. I’m sure I’ll do some things DIY, but only because I’m a creative person and it happens naturally. Oh well.

If they let me wear a pant suite, I would! My Fiance is so against it, I begged. LOL. So I have decided, if you are going to make me wear a dress, walk down an aisle and say vows and crap in front of people... Then I am going to plan EXACTLY what I want to a T.
