Wedding details
We both love the atmosphere of the Renaissance fair, but due to scheduling issues could not have it at our local fair, SO WE MADE OUR OWN! We welcomed guests to dress up as Renaissance, Medieval, Time-Traveler, Video-game, book, movie characters or just make up their own (we had everyone from Dr Who and Star Trek officers to lost Hawaiian tourist). We had our ceremony in an easy to walk to cave which helped everyone get into a magical mind set. At our reception we had a sword fighting pit complete with foam swords and shields, a s'more roasting area, dance floor, pic-nick tables with table clothes in our wedding colors, an "alter table" as our gift table and just made it very rustic. We served appetizers, cake and wine. We stepped over swords, danced the time warp, fought our family members and had a blast. Ha-zah!
