My FH and I are officially getting married on July 21st (EEE 3 MORE DAYS) since our original wedding plans got postponed to May 2021. We are planning on doing the ceremony again on the big wedding day. For those of you that have done the same, which day will you be celebrating your anniversary?

I would celebrate the day we actually got married even if it was just the two of us.

I would celebrate the anniversary of my marriage, not the anniversary of the day I threw I party.

Agreed anniversary is about the marriage not the party

I’m nitpicking so I’m celebrating on the day I got married even though it’s a Sunday next year

I got married 4years ago and am just having my celebration next year September. We figured we'd save our anniversary for ourselves and the party anniversary for family.

We're choosing to have a few anniversaries. We will sign the legal papers as soon as we are able to, Sept 19th was our intended date and will be our "official" anniversary, and we'll have our ceremony/party in 2021.

What other PP said, the date you actually took vows, said I do.

I would celebrate whatever day you actually got married. We also postponed our fall wedding to next year, but we plan on getting courthouse married exactly one year from our new date next year. So getting married Friday, August 28th this year and having our 1 year anniversary and reception Saturday, August 28th next year!
